HibeeJibee
Excellent day for LL as Rothes, Clachnacuddin, Deveronvale, Fraserburgh and Nairn were put to flight in effectively a 5-1 aggregate rout in HL v LL clashes.By the sound of it Dalbeattie were unlucky not to have pegged things back to 2-2 and Selkirk went down valiantly to Linlithgow, both playing extended spells with 10-men. The_Judge
A bad day at the office for Vale of Leithen.....they took the lead early on from a corner but EK quickly got back on level terms with the first of two good goals. Vale then gifted EK a few really cheap goals.....the big number 5 had a bit of a nightmare before being replaced....he may well have nightmares about Joao Victoria tonight. Robbie Winters played the whole 90 minutes and belies his 41 years. Can anyone confirm when the draw for round 2 takes place?

Rab B Nesbit
Some great results for the LL today well done all! So averaged the places were about even, but it finished 5-1 (with that 1 being HL 6th v LL 4th).
HibeeJibee
Other significant fact to highlight would be that the only LL teams who lost to non-LL teams were Dalbeattie (v Wick) and Selkirk (v Linlithgow). Meanwhile only HL teams to win against non-HL teams were Huntly (v Girvan) and Wick (v Dalbeattie). Finally - number of non-league clubs in R2, by league, since LL established:2013-14 Highland - 10 Lowland - 7 South - 2 Juniors - 32014-15 Highland - 8 Lowland - 8 Juniors - 62015-16 Highland - 13 Lowland - 6 East - 1 Juniors - 22016-17 Highland - 7 / 8 Lowland - 10 / 11 East - 0 / 1 Juniors - 3 / 4 So for the first time more LL clubs have reached R2 than HL clubs. Of course HL also provided more entrants (now 2 more).

Have to admit I thought there must have been a mistake. Hawick Royal Albert are also listed as having beaten the pen pushers 2-4. Inverurie Loco Works thrashed by six goals by Buckie? Are Charlie Banger's Circus really that bad these days? Some light at the end of the tunnel for Gretna perhaps, who don't appear to have had the most convincing of starts to the season. HibeeJibee
LL and SFA say 1-1. EK suggesting Robbie Winters became the oldest-ever Scottish Cup goalscorer today - just shy of 42. I'm ever sceptical of these sort of things, but on the case.

Apart from the penalty save I don't think Bryan was tested very much. Mon the welfarrrre!!!!!
