Sorry, wasn't aware that 'swording' Ayr United was worth more that the standard 3 points that you get for winning any other football game on the planet.

I think you'll find that Morton's win in that proverbial 'six-pointer' at the bottom of the division played a crucial role in the outcome of that season. Here's a wee reminder of what happened at the end:

Ayr finishing bottom and being relegated by a two point margin: owing to the swording delivered to them by Sir David Irons.

What about James Grady coming back then?

An utterly laughable assessment of the match.

He doesn't even mention the only real chance in the first half from Quitongo [emoji23] . He's right that you were better in the first half but on the basis of that half its nothing to be proud of.

Really? I thought we were rancid in the first half with Ayr being the better team by far.

We were both pretty bad but you were able to carve out some opportunities from it. We were moving guys about all the time to make up for McCall messing up his starting lineup.

I see, so taking 3 points from Ayr is worthy of a Prodigal Son type return to the Cappielow hotseat, regardless of the fact that the rest of his tenure was an absolute clusterfuck. Got it.

You'd be clutching at straws as well if you'd watched your team getting horsed by the part-time skintos of the league.

It'll get them used to it for next season.
