Gotta give credit to the work Xavi is doing for Barcelona.  They were an absolute shambles under Koeman and now they look like world beaters

His approach is spot on, dominating midfield like Barcelona of old but willing to encourage balls into the box rather than trying to score ‘perfect’ goals all the time.

Pedri doing Pedri things tonight. He could turn into some sort Xavi/Iniesta/Messi hybrid.

Pedri is the real deal.  Incredible composure and a postage stamp finish.

A first ever win in the Nou Camp for Cadiz as they leave with three points after a 1-0 win.

That lifts Cadiz out of the bottom 3 with Real Mallorca taking their place.

Real Madrid remain 15 points clear and will probably wrap up the title this weekend.

Really enjoying La Liga of late.

Real Madrid's 3-2 win on Sunday was an absolute classic. 2-0 down at Half Time and they were looking dead and buried which was understandable after the 120 minutes they played against Chelsea during the week. Benzema is unbelievable.

Cadiz beating Barcelona at the Nou Camp was a big shock too. Even though Barcelona have generally been absolutely rotten this season with the exception of El Classico. Majorca beating Alaves too was a big result, given that both clubs are near the drop zone. Think Alaves are gone.

Atletico currently drawing 0-0 with Granada with half an hour to go.

Real Madrid V Osasuna at 2030 UK time. On La Liga TV and Premier.

Big game for Barca tonight after defeats to Frankfurt and Cadiz.  Xavi has done wonders and I still think they’ll finish second though well behind Real, but anything other than three points against Sociedad will cause real jitters.

Aye, definitely. The Cadiz win is made even more signifcant given they lost 3-2 earlier.

Real Madrid last night were pretty good even with the two penalties misses.

Looking forward to the Sociedad v Barca game tonight.
