Ira Gaines
Aye. Could have been more. There was a HUGE chance right before the second goal. That said, the Betis keeper was forced into a cracking save. Betis are pressing high and continually winning the ball in the midfield and Barcelona look rattled.
Ira Gaines
Barcelona were actually doing well in the early going of the second half, and got their reward with a penalty decision that the VAR, correctly, assisted on. Then Ter Stegen fucked it and it became 3-1. Betis were coming back into the game at that point as Barcelona were slowing down a bit. Betis still the better side at the moment.
JMDP
Excellent win for Betis, good to see Barca dropping points. Great SCENES at the metropolitano yesterday when the winner was given by VAR. You had to feel for Bilbao a little, insane that they took Inaki Williams off unless he was carrying a knock - his pace was causing the Atletico defence fits and they didn't have any outlet afterwards, just inviting wave after wave of pressure. Massive game with Barca in a couple of weeks. Edited November 11, 2018 by JMDP -
Ira Gaines
Some good, and poor, use of the VAR in the Barcelona game. It helped give Barcelona a penalty which seemed the right decision, but also then helped Barcelona with an incorrect onside call to make it 4-3. Not that it helped of course. It was a cracking game of fitba.

Salvo Montalbano
Real getting pumped 3-0 by Eibar [emoji38]Rwal Madrid looked awful. Passes all over the shop, no pace, 2 shots on goal the entire game I think? They need major surgery on that showing.

GNU_Linux
Where do you watch la liga now on tv?Not on traditional tv (for now). Eleven Sports have the rights via their streaming service which is 50 quid a year. They stream 2 games (one La Liga & one Serie A - I think) a weekend free via either facebook or stv player.

Afro
Apparently Messi has now scored more free kicks (19) in the past four seasons than every team in Europe (Juventus next up after Barcelona with 18). Ridiculous.
