Andy groundhopper
Thought EK edged it, quicker to loose balls and more of a threat going forward. Bit of good fortune with some goals, the stronger side at set pieces won the day. Tranent a threat if they can keep possession and link up the dangerous front runners better. Any attendance given ?
Oystercatcher
Our discipline seemed a bit off, a few yellows and a red
Omnishambles
Three really soft and similar goals given away from set pieces is somewhat frustrating but pleased with how we held our own today against a clearly good side. You were quicker to a lot of balls and pressed us well. I don't anticipate us to be struggling this season coming away from today. EK are probably one of the toughest tests we'll have. Onwards and upwards and all that. Best of luck for the season ahead

Oystercatcher
First home game of the season tonight against those who shall not be named. First game on the new pitch. Looking forward to it.
Hauzen
Bit of a pasting for EK so far, late first half penalty making it slightly more respectable 3-1 at the break.
johnmc80
Can we get the old pitch out the skip and re-layed please!
Oystercatcher
Rangers first goal came from an assault on our right back, should have been a free kick to us their third from a really soft free kick. Ek had a few missed chances and hit the post. The only players of worth in a very poor rangers team was the number ten and their left back . Known him since he was a young boy. Smashing young player.
craigiemack
2 hard games to start so 1 win isn't the worst outcome, but what strikes me is the 6 goals conceded. EK are normally one of the more resolute defences in the league, gonny be difficult to string wins together if you're chucking in a couple a game.

Rangers completely took the foot off the gas and had they kept the tempo up EK wouldn't have got anywhere as near back into it as the did. EK were totally outplayed in the first half and the early goal rattled them and came from a shocker from Bronsky. The Rangers number nine had him on toast. EK are clearly strong but will need to be much better to win the league.

Yep agree with this, Rangers were knocking the ball about with ease at times.. the expression often used is "men against boys" but not quite right here! Tough start for EK and hopefully some lessons learned about his new players for Rutkiewicz last night, as the next few games are pretty tough as well.

I was at the game, Rangers B were miles ahead of EK in quality. The first goal wasn't a foul, never mind an "assault", lol. EK only made the scoreline close because Rangers B were soft-shoeing through the last half hour of the game after going 4-1 ahead.
