Was in attendance today,1st visit to K-Park.

Tidy wee set at EK,good enough for the LL or League 2 but any higher and they'd need that new ground planned along the road.

As for the game,EK were by far the better side, more quality throughout their side, the 3rd goal on half time killed the game stone dead but credit to Berwick, they kept plugging away all 2nd half.

Meant to be going to Gala v EK on the 3rd December, should be an entertaining game if today was anything to go by.

Yes we played well today, would have been tighter if Berwick had taken the few chances they had , plus one super save by our goalkeeper Curtis. Well deserved win overall.

But the absolute highlight was goal by Joao Victoria, a thing of beauty.  As the ball fell to him on edge of box more or less open goal with keeper well out of position.  Superb first touch, opened up his body, settled himself and curled and pearler right into postage stamp. Poetry.

2-1 at half time to Gala, it was 2-0 but EK pulled one back just on the stroke of half time.

Another defeat on the cards?

What a fuckin game, well worth the 2 trains doon fae west lothian.

Missed 3 goals right after half time,as the 7 of us were in the bar under the main stand at half time 🙈

Good day out had by all in Gala, great set up at Netherdale and fair play to both sets of players for putting on a great performance !!

The LL has took a few knocks from a few on this forum but that was top notch, played at a high tempo and with no shortage of good football played by both sides .

Hi Dav, agree an absolutely cracking game of football.  Both teams played 100% on front foot to try to  win the game.  Always been my favourite away trip, Made so welcome,  lovely people,  view from stand unsurpassable.

Best pies and scones,  helpful and friendly  bar staff,  committee the best , no wonder second best place to live in UK. An total privilege to visit.

On the park, suspect very few teams will come away with 3 points, excellent young team , play football the right way , wish them sincerely all the best for the rest of the season

Thought Cumbernauld were much the better side. Put EK under a lot of pressure through great desire & intensity in pressing in their own half, & consequently won a lot of ball in good positions. Good quality & creativity on the ball, allied with decent pace down the flanks, frequently exposing EK down the flanks especially. Should have killed the game in the first 5 minutes of the second half but didn't take any of three good chances, which did serve to offer EK some hope of getting something from the game, but even throwing everything into the Colts' box in the last 5-10 minutes, they didn't seem to be much belief that they would get anything.

Thought EK looked less fit, & if not then certainly less 'up for it', than Cumbernauld, & were very one dimensional in their play, with a hell of a lot of long balls forward after a few passes at the back & in midfield being either dealt with by the home back four, or over-hit & running out for goalkicks. On last night's showing, you'd have thought that positions in the table were the other way around.

Another droll performance.

Curtis completely at fault for their goal, told the defender to leave it then stood on his line, in typical goalkeeper fashion blamed everyone else.

Every team in the league comes to k park and seem to control the tempo and the game. We end up chasing and second to everything, when we did look like scoring it was low passes through the middle with just the keeper to beat, but broomhill keeper had a decent game.

McLaughlin came close near the end with a fantastic effort.

Well done to Spartans today, a well deserved victory, they looked fitter, stronger and hungrier than another half arsed, don't look interested EK team.

Another season for EK in the lowland league next year, just not good enough from top to bottom
