EK win by 3 goals to 1.  Scorers were Winter, McNeil and Stevenson.  A lively first half with a very young Dundee side playing some lovely stuff.  Two trialists wearing 5 & 9 reallly caught my eye along with Cedwyn Scott.  The number 10 looked about 10 years old but had a couple of magic moments.  In the second half they seemed to run out of steam and EK took control.

Looking forward to games with you guys this season , looks like a really decent outfit

Agreed.  Was quite excited about the trip to Kelty although last game of the season wasn't what I originally had in mind.

Would settle for a title decider lol , here’s hoping !! Just hope we hold our own this season in a very tasty looking league which is only going to get tougher once the new EOS teams filter in which will only be a matter of time imo

Tonights Friendly Result.
EKFC 2 GLENAFTON 1.
A very entertaining game tonight saw a disputed corner for EK resulting in a goalmouth scramble with Winters getting the final touch to put the home team in front in the 30th min. This was EKs 6th game and they were well into their preseason and this showed in the first half when they looked match sharper, but the  Glens dug in and 1-0 to EK was a fair reflection of the first half. The second half had only 1 min played when an unfortunate clearance by the Glens stand in keeper cannoned off Eks advancing forward McNeil and landed in the back of the net 2-0 to EK.The Glens then took control of the game and the EK keeper earned his fee tonight with some outstanding saves but it was only a delay in the Glens pulling one back thro McCausland in the 60th min 2-1. Both teams were now playing some good football and both had chances to add to the scoreline, but it finished 2-1 to EK in what turned out to be an excellent night of football played by both teams. And good luck to EK and their friendly support for the coming season.Highlights ASAP.

Great signing for EK, will be a standout in this league

He came on board [on loan] half way through last season and was indeed a stand out.  He had the captains armband in last weeks friendly with Dundee.
