Probably a mix of making a couple of decent signings, consistent team selection, couple of early wins on the doors and even though its only the end of July probably got enough points on the board to hopefully be out of the relegation mix. Considering the recent seasons for Star though, 5 wins on the trot in any case is worth noting. I'm sure things will even out, but for sure an impressive start to the season regardless of opponents. Na fair fucks to them. I'm really chuffed the start they've made. The LL has become boring the past few years with all the money clubs occupying the top spots. First competitive game between the teams since the Scottish Cup first round 1934 when Celtic beat Star 6-0 at Maidenholm Park, Dalbeattie, in front of a crowd of 2,376. No shame in losing if that's the standard of player Celtic are fielding. Seriously, I thought the arrival of these Colts sides was supposed to be give the Lowland League enhanced coverage on the likes of the BBC. Instead we get the usual inaccurate pish like this.
