If a dropped ball enters the goal without touching at least two players play is restarted with:

  • a goal kick if it enters the opponents’ goal
  • a corner kick if it enters the team’s goal

GOAL SHOULDNT HAVE STOOD...

Ref justified it by claiming Vics keeper touched the ball. Heard he was a meadow fan as a youngster.

Well if the goalie touched it then aye goal should have stood then just poor sportsmanship!

Goalie never touched it! He went round the keeper with plenty to spare and rolled it into the empty net. The ref was pish all night, couldn't get the red card out quick enough for our player, failed to card the meadow full back for retaliatory kick out at our forward, right in front of his assistant and then completely ignored two blatant kicks by his pal Jared Willets, who was already on a yellow card. And for the penalty equalizer that ended the meadow player's game, that was laughable. It was embarrassing to say the least as he spoiled a good game. Wasn't a classic by any means but was competitive, with plenty of incident. Should've restarted the game with penalty shoot out, as could hardly see the ball or goalmouths when he eventually did

This is typical of the refereeing standard but the clubs have to pay £45 for ref and £22.50 for each linesman before tax of course, hope they are declaring it in their earnings, very poor standard. But Greg Vernon should be embarrassed by his actions not was it unsporting but he let down his team, coaching staff, committee and fans. What a disgrace to Scottish junior football.

Daft tackle by Vics player for sending off, think ref got it right. Bad mistake by Meadow goalie for Vics 1st goal. Terrible defending at corner kicks by Vics for Meadow 1st 2 goals. Meadow player should be ashamed about 3rd goal and Meadow management should have told there players to let Vics score from the kick off. Meadow fans invaded pitch after there 3rd goal, and Vics fans invaded pitch after there 3rd goal. Vics captain was arguing with Meadow fans when ref suspended the game, not sure why. Plenty of incidents and I'm sure there were others I missed but both these teams will need to improve a lot or could find themselves in trouble once the league starts.

Sounds like it was the conduct of the players that was pish all night.

If players can't behave themselves then the blame lies with them.

Dingaling, you're spot on with your post, but it was a stupid tackle from both players at the first red. However it happened right in front of their enclosure and wasn't helped with wee Ben screaming like a wean and rolling about when there was nothing wrong with him.

Energyzone again concur with your points about player behaviour, however if the ref had done his job correctly, both teams would have been down to ten men before half time. Easy decisions for the ref by the players actions, which he failed to deliver. By the way wasn't a dirty game.

It is rather amusing / ironic that the holier than thou Medda fans who had plenty to say about Cumnock/Talbot Derby games have a part in what is a real disgrace
Ooh dear ooh dear....... How long till this shame game is banished of the calendar ( or other such pish that Nock/Bot fans had to listen to from those who would be King and never quite made it .... Despite spending an absolute fortune trying

just in from the night shift, could not believe how low this once great club have fallen,to allow there player to score from a bounce ball is bad enough but not to tell there players to stand still and let vics score from the resulting kick off is a disgrace, they may hang there heads in shame.but then again defeats from saltcoats and darvel,a win would be a bonus.:thumsup2
