It was actually the other way around, the linesman told the ref he had a good view and it wasn't a penalty but the linesman said the ref overruled him.

Makes you wonder why the ref consults the linesman at all. Personally I don't think it should have been a pen, but if the ref had any understanding of playing the game he could have left it at that.

Dalry 2 Buffs 1 FT

Deserved victory for Dalry today.Wee Gavin's got them playin' well,& took the lead with a very well executed direct free kick.Buffs missed at least 5 good chances to score, but compared to Dalry,we weren't really 'at the races' today! Well done Dalry,& play like you did today in the coming season, you'll be there or there abouts for promotion, imo. Good luck.

Good to read a report like that after a defeat.
A refreshing change on P&B!!
Thank you.

Friendly result from today:

Clydebank 2 ( Steven Young 62mins , Greg Cree 76mins )
Queens Park XI 1 ( (57mins)

Good run out for Bankies today against a youthful but very decent QP young team who tried to play football throughout . Smashing winner from Greg Cree who had a good game for The Bankies .

Was at Shettleston v Peasy today, thought Peasy were better side in first half and Shettleston better side in 2nd half! Wonderful free kick by Weatherston to equalise.

think both teams will be up there come the end of the season.

Greenock 6-0 Port Glasgow.

The worst derby drubbing I've seen for the port:(

Hopefully the players can pick themselves back up and don't let it shatter their confidence.

Well done to Greenock, looked really good today and imo will be strong contenders for the central first.
