ex-german exile Posted August 13, 2016 Share Posted August 13, 2016 It was actually the other way around, the linesman told the ref he had a good view and it wasn't a penalty but the linesman said the ref overruled him. Makes you wonder why the ref consults the linesman at all. Personally I don't think it should have been a pen, but if the ref had any understanding of playing the game he could have left it at that.
