Darvel 1-5 Hurlford FT
Darvel finished with ten men - Dean Marshall off to a very poor refereeing decision.

Yes it certainly didn't help Darvel's chances when the Darvel player was incorrectly sent off around 10 minutes into the first half

It was certainly a harsh decision although it was the Lino that instructed the ref to send him off. Then book the goalie after he saved the penalty.

It was actually the other way around, the linesman told the ref he had a good view and it wasn't a penalty but the linesman said the ref overruled him.

Forth 2 LANARK 3

Deserved victory for Lanark although not a massive difference between the two teams. Forth keeper had a few smart saves to make. Forth seemed terribly bothered by players going down injured. One lad came down badly on his ankle. Think they only had one sub.

Alan McCrum only available for 2nd half made a difference

Who was the ref?

Oooft!  Did SBA have a full team out?

They played like they were a' fu'.

Seriously, they were missing maybe three players who would normally be in the first XI and had a couple of others carrying various strains etc - only two on the bench as well, and one of them was the assistant manager - but no Shotts team has ever lost by a seven-goal margin in their 66-year history. But let's not dwell on the bad points. Everything happens for a reason.
