Boyd scored 12 goals in 37 appearances in the Championship.

Gary hooper is a better example he was like to Ronaldo in Scottish football then has been poor in the championship.

In my opinion top end of premier is stronger than championship overall but championship has much more depth mainly because they can afford to pay X 10 the wages of about 3/4 of Scottish premier league. If you look at say Birmingham as a middle of the championship team and the value of their players or signed jota for 6.5 million. Outwith old firm think Paul Bernard for 1 million is the record signing. Although money isn’t everything this has a big impact.

Also how many Scottish premier league players were at the World Cup / play international football? Compare that to the championship massive difference

Hooper was one off being the top scorer in his first season in the Championship and Transfermarkt tells me he has 60 in 160 games in that league.

Ha ha what parts the waffle it’s factually correct - the championship in England provided a much higher percentage of World Cup players per team and a higher percentage overall capped international players than the Scottish premier. Top championship wage bills dwarf that of even Celtic and rangers which means even they need to rely on selling players, loans and free transfers.

You're rabbiting on about international caps and wages. Of course there are more international players playing in the league that pays the highest wages. In any case, Scotland and England aren't really comparable in football terms, two completely different beasts.

Gary Hooper should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Ronaldo either.  Ever.

Ok but ur states are incorrect think you have added in his goals for Scunthorpe’s in championship or league one as hopper has nowhere near 60 goals since returning to championship he has less than half that.

Why would the goals in the Championship for Scunthorpe not count?

A poor Scunthorpe team also. Did they not go down that season?

Yeah think he scored more goals than Carrol did for Newcastle who horsed the league then went for 10 times what we paid for Hooper in next transfer window.

Footballs football of course you can compare the the quality of the leagues. More money = better players = more international players = a more in depth quality league.

Worth mentioning that China has the "most expensive" league on the planet, I take it you think it's a better league than Serie A or Ligue 1?

In terms of wages 1. Premiership 2. Bundesliga 3. Seria a 4 La Liga 5 lique 1 6. Russian premier league 7. Brazilian premier 8. English championship

Oscar, who plays in China, is one of the highest earning players in the world on £400k a week, now hes signed a new deal.

5 of the top 15 highest paid players in football play in China (Oscar, Hulk, Pelle, Martinez, Lavezzi). Thats ignoring Tevez who was earning £615k a week before leaving.

Surely thats your more money = better players = better league, in action?

No because China’s leagues each team has around 2 high paid stars per team but there is no depth. The table below is average wages and it’s hard to argue with the results I would say La Liga the premiership seria a and bundisliga are the 4 best leagues in the world further proving my point.
