The-coo-shed
Fair play to Froome. Am I right in saying that although he has won the tour the past couple of years he doesn't win that many stages? Don't think single races suit him!
Salvo Montalbano
He won one regular stage, one time trial in the Tour and allowed Sagan the stage win when they both broke away too IIRC.
Gnash
Fantastic performance by Spartacus. In fact I would almost say "unbelievable".

He is a bit of a unit for a pro cyclist. His strength is his strength, hence he does so well in Paris Roubaix, him and Tom Boonen are big and strong and dont get as knocked about as others on the cobbly roads. He would have been less affected by the crosswinds, more physical strength and mass to keep the bike straight. He was expected to be out of contention because of the hills on the course. Power goes up with weight (so long as you are putting on muscle mass in your legs not lard on the arse) but power to weight drops off, power to weight is the key to good climbing and at about 82kgs "Spartacus" is too heavy to have a good power to weight ratio. But air resistance increases exponentially with speed so on the flat total power tend to offer more than power to weight so your track riders for example will be heavier than road racers as there are no hills to climb. His total power output would have (perhaps) made up into the headwinds what he lost from the big weight but worse power to weight ratio than Froome or Doumoulin who both give more than 12kgs (or their abouts) to Cancerella.
