Forfar announcing their attendance on Saturday as 600 odd shows they just total spoof it too as photos in other thread show. 53 people behind both goals emoji23.png

We've discussed this before. Total mystery why they do it. Their default crowd is 406.

One of the games v Cowden there weren't even 300 there but the quoted attendance was 400+

You can give any old figure to the media when it comes to VAT etc I would imagine the actual figures would be accurate.

Not 460 something?

Anyway totally agree.

Couldn't believe what Station Park was like on Saturday, for such an important game too.

City did alright for a pishy wee LL side just newly promoted.

We used to get better crowds when Hibs were away- a lot of our home games clashed with Hibs being at home this season. And the unusual situation of a Scottish Cup Holding Hibs side usually winning games and being top of the league too!!

Oh well, thanks to the Jambos that turned up then... ;)

No pictures of the stand which was almost full and the terrace in front of the stand where most fans are at every game

It was pitiful. Sure there'll be photos of that elsewhere. It was only taken for the group whatsapp, who never believed that there was only a grand total of 53 fans behind both goals.

Good work Smokie Bacon.

Credit to Elgin: consistently high turnout. From memory, decent entry price and excellent catering prices, which must help. Always enjoy an away day up the road.

Have to remember Elgin is similar in size to Arbroath, so their crowds should be where they are

Good attendances for Elgin even after our last quarter meltdown. I think last season's run-in when we were in with a chance of winning the league, were closer to 4 figures. I'll take it as a moral victory that we were the best supported in the league as Arbroath had derby matches with Forfar and Montrose.

Dunno in recent times that 1731 is the best, there was a 1400 the day our title slipped away from us under Moore when we were cruising 2-0 to be pegged back to 2-2 and then the penalty miss by us. After that we picked up about another 15 points in 18 games and sneaked in the play off. And of course the day we won the league against them there was 2500

Been upto over 5000 in the past I'm sure

Relichtie is your man for that

was there not something like 2200 when we played mo when we won the league

match magazine in the 80s done the match facts and at the end of the season done the avarage attendances  for teams and showed if it was up /down from previous seasons and saying by how many, dont know when they stopped doing that,
