Motherwell @ Kilmarnock

Recommended Posts

MacDonald, Boyle, McFadzean, Addison, S Smith, Dicker, Hawkshaw, Taylor, McKenzie, Coulibaly, Kiltie

SUBS: Davies, Boyd, Burn, Cobain, Jones, M. Smith, Waddington

I'm guessing that will look something like:

MacDonald

Taylor Addison Boyle Smith

Hawkshaw Dicker

McKenzie Kiltie  McFadzean

Coulibaly.

That lineup is pretty weak in midfield. If Motherwell didn't have Samson in goal I'd be very worried.

Far more nervous at the end there than it needed to be thanks to our regulation push of the panic button late on whilst two goals up, but overall a thoroughly deserved three points and a great start to the new season.

A lot harder than it needed to be in the end and we should have been out of sight.

Special mention for Thomson the donkey who was dreadful as per.

Great to go up the road with three points and a brilliant start to the season.

Gin time.

Put your house on Killie going down. Three games in a row we haven't made chances - today it took until after 80 mins to get a shot on target against a keeper we know to be total dung.

Smith, who's shit enough at left back, playing right back. Hawkshaw brought in from the cold and Jones randomly dropped. No dig whatsoever in midfield. Absolutely bizarre selections today.

That teamsheet from Killie was a total head scratcher. No idea on what basis Clark picked that team. He signed three players who can play right back in the summer after us doing without a recognised RB last season, then picks two left backs to play today. Only picks one central midfielder and four wingers and one centre forward. And two of the players he picked are from our youth team. Bizarre.

Thompson had some bizarre decisions for both sides. Shocker of a referee.

Ainsworth had a goal of the season and a miss of the season contender.

It was quite nervy at the end but we should have been further ahead by that point. Delighted with the three points.

Strange.
Clarke seems like such a great manager.
