Skyline Drifter
To be fair its not awful. And its obviously researched to some degree to know Lyndon Dykes came from Surfers Paradise Apollo (which is an Australian level 2 or 3 club incidentally). Which makes the left field assertion that Syephen Dobbie is from Dumfries and started his career with us after leaving Rangers youths all the more bizarre! He is from Glasgow and played for Hibs, St Johnstone and Dumbarton (Loan) before he ever came near us fyi. He did however turn his career round in two and a half years with us from being a slightly overweight striker drifting downwards to being an near unplayable talent who went on to make the English Championship playoff final four years running and even managed a few appearances in the Premiership.

That was the implication of my "some degree" remark, yes. But even limiting research to this forum it wouldn't have taken much reading to also establish Dobbie had been to several clubs before us.
Monkey Tennis
I actually think we should embrace any Stalinist rewriting of history, that says Dobbie is a Doonhamer.
TN10Y
Yes, apologies. I had not remembered that Stephen Dobbie had a poor spell at St Johnstone, and I was sure at the time of recording that he went to Hibernian from Queen of the South. Thanks, for listening though.
