I just rode in bold as brass and within seconds had a group of bounty hunters surrounding me, didn't even have time to get my own gun out. You cross a stream at some point just as you come into new territory. I'm bloody hopeless at the hunting part unless its just shooting F*ck out of things. Tedious for the most part, but getting a few missions I missed earlier, including one of the debt collector ones where you have to get a legendary cougar pelt. f**k that mission right in its dark, confusing mapped face. Thing can attack you from any angle, and if you have your weapon out you can't see anything. OK if you spot it early but I've been mauled twice already. But if you start at the top of that road and walk (or ride, but I prefer walking because if the horse throws you, which it usually does, then you're pretty much fucked) down then a Cougar usually appears at some point. I rarely walk down it without seeing one. But obviously you need a break after you do get one. I can't fucking move for squirrels! Look at my previous post with the screenshots for cougars. lightscamera Posted February 23, 2019 Share Posted February 23, 2019 I found a bear along a riverbank and shot it, unfortunately didn't kill it and for some reason stuck my gun away....
