Massimiliano Allegri back to Juventus, the verbal agreement has been reached today morning - he’s gonna sign the contract in the next few hours. Juventus are also preparing the official statement.

Meh no fussed

He won five straight league titles and  over 70% of his games in those years.

And you're no fussed! 😂

Love that the national team are doing well in the Euros and Serie A still decides to be mental.

And 43 year old Gigi Buffon is back at Parma 🥰

How many farewell seasons does he need?

Italy tend to win things when the domestic game is in the shit. Often a good sign.

See 1982 and 2006.

Wonder if Juve will bring a new keeper in or stick with Szczęsny. Always thought it was strange they didn't go for an 'elite' level keeper when Buffon first moved on.

Atalanta sign Juan Musso from Udinese. From an Udinese point of view I'm sad to see him go, a very decent keeper although as an Atalanta sympathiser I'm hopeful he plays well for them, goalies were a bit ropey for them last season.

@Silverton End

goings on in Messina ?

GTF Ultra's turn their back on ACR Messina and resolve to follow FC Messina instead - protest at yet another impending bankruptcy by all accounts ?

All that's happened with FC Messina is that they've changed names. Admittedly, their new name is somewhat similar to the Messina team in Serie A (FC Messina Peloro) which would bring credence to the supposition that ACR are fucked. No reason why the fans of Citta would change allegiances though.

Your point about the Italian lower leagues is correct, though. That's why I love it so much. Forza sempre Celano.

Forza A.C.R Messina!

Seria D Group I champions today, on the up again at last (I hold my breath) 😁

Well done to them though, on promotion, after years in the wilderness. Long way to go still

Fair play to them. It was a decent title fight between the two Messina teams.

Yes, went right down to the wire,  there's some decent footage on ACR's official (public) Facebook page.

Felipe Anderson back to Lazio for £3 million and a 50% sell on. Considering his age, a fantastic deal considering they flogged him for £40 million.

Serie A bans the colour green. Can’t be worn by outfield players.

Ban comes into force in 2022-23. Reason is you need a contrast otherwise it blends into the green of the pitch on TV.

Just utter nonsense. Sassuolo better still be allowed their black and green.
And Venezia, though I wouldn't mind if this inconveniences them.
