Cagliari

Pleased at that.

we're going to have a serious chat as to who is the appointed forum racist nazi b*****d, bearing in mind there was some twat on here who decided that should be me on the basis of what team i followed in italy 😃

that said, Hellas have brought in several black players during the last few weeks, so fair to middlin' chance that the Curva Sud at the Bentegodi will be stringing up the black mannequins like the gold old days sometime soon, and Cagliari will be back to being an afterthought on that front (fao twats - being facetious, geddit ?)

It is 100% you. What an absolutely abhorrent post. Surely such a blatantly racist term is completely unacceptable on this forum?

The Serie A wage bills are listed in today's Gazzetta. The lowest are Verona (€25m), Brescia (€28m) and SPAL/Udinese (€30m). The highest are Juventus (€294m), Inter (€139m) and Roma (€125m).
Is surprising to see diddies like Bologna (€41m) in the top ten and ahead of Champions League Atalanta (€36m).

There are seven Juve players in the top ten highest paid alongside Lukaku, Donnarumma and Koulibaly. Liam Henderson is on €300,000.

Quote

An Italian television station says it will not use one of its pundits again after he made a racist comment about Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.

Speaking on TopCalcio24, Luciano Passirani said: "If you go one-on-one with him he will murder you.

"The only way to come up against him is maybe give him 10 bananas to eat..."

Time for very serious action to be taken against Serie A authorities by UEFA or FIFA until the league takes racist abuse very seriously and hammer those responsible.

A ban on all Italian clubs and national team from participating in fixtures under the UEFA banner and FIFA in terms of World Club Championship and World Cup involvement.

Also a record fine should be imposed on Serie A authorities and maybe then the message will be hammered home that such behaviour needs stamped out immediately.

More concerned about water bottles being thrown than the actions of racist fans is utterly shocking and unacceptable.

Tottenham fans were throwing bananas at Aubameyang last season, from memory. Should they be banned aswell? I cant remember there being any serious action taken over that.

Theres regularly racism in games involving Bulgarian, Spanish, Russian and Croatian sides in Europe aswell, from memory.

Italian football is in the news for it just now, but it's nowhere near alone in its issues.

Don't forget Scotland, where these issues are regularly swept under the carpet

True but the same applies it is time for authorities to deal with it in a serious manner.

Agree it is a horrendous attitude in some countries and I recall that Spurs game as well.

It's disgusting that it's still goes on and making a severe example of a club or two might drive home the message it will be tolerated no more.

If nothing serious is done then surely it makes a mockery of campaigns like Show Racisim the Red Card or Kick it Out etc.

Issue is theres so much money in Europe these days, so any club you banned for racism would challenge the decision in the court. Which would mean you either back down, or ban literally every single club who's been guilty of it over the past year.

Watched bits of first half of Juventus v Verona
Verona miss penalty, then hit the bar and then score a screamer. Buffon had zero chance.
Ramsay scoring the equaliser

almost as good as the first half performance from Hellas at Lo Stadium - and Miguel Veloso's goal -  is the fact that I'm watching an english language (sic) stream on an Indian channel, where the half time analysis from the FOOTBALL EXTRAAA studio comes from......Terry Phelan  😝
