Consider our very limited striking options last season James McAteer didn't get much game time from the Bo'ness United manager (3 starts and 5 subs) which must have been frustrating for him.  He is a strong lad who can hold a ball up well but he just doesn't have any pace to run away from decent defenders.    Hopefully dropping a division and joining Sauchie may help him get his mojo back.

Does anyone know the name of the German guy Sauchie signed in 2003/4 from Stirling uni??

I can remember him doing a flip every time he scored.

Sauchie were impressive last night beating cumbernauld colts 2-1. Missed the second goal but from what I seen they were very impressive.

Bit of a coup to have signed Shirra.  With respect, I would have expected him not to be short of offers in the Superleague.........unless Lithgae wouldnt let him go to a rival.

Even a South League was in for him but he probably didn't want to drop down 2 leagues I guess.
