glad to see we've managed to keep our development league status, for anyone traveling with the U20's squads Dunfermline are looking at playing most games either at  East End Park or Kelty hearts new ground. :)

County usually play at the Highland Football Academy pitches, which are next to Victoria Park. I think Caley sometimes play there as well if they're not at Grant Street Park?

Can anyone provide a list of where each team is likely to play their home games?

Caley Thistle occasionally use the HFA pitches.  I don't know if they're actually HFA or Ross County have them now.  There is a grass pitch that is fenced off that is used for the majority, and since the end of the last season there is now an outdoor artificial pitch that can be used.

These were the breakdowns for 2015-16 and 2014-15 taken from the Scottish Football Almanac (edition for 2016-17 not out yet) in that order.

It can be a total lottery and often change at very short notice, sometimes even the night before the match.

  • 3 weeks later...

I see Celtic have signed-up for the "Premier League International Cup"... drawn against Aston Villa, Norwich, and Valencia... with 3 group games over 4 midweeks in November, then knockout rounds in the new year.

If they get past Hapoel in midweek they also go into the UEFA Youth League groupstage with 6 group games on midweeks between September and December, then knockout rounds in the new year. Even if they lose to Hapoel, they go into 2 rounds of home-and-away knockout ties.

On top of that they have 32 SPFL Development games... scheduled every midweek from now to early May, bar 3 week winter break in January... plus Scottish Youth Cup (up to 5 rounds) and still in the Irn-Bru Cup.

Upto 59 games.

Some shots from last night's development league game between Dundee United and Partick Thistle at Gayfield with Thistle winning 2-1 with 2 goals from Declan McDaid and Brad Smith for Dundee United.  Thistle also included a trialist (pictured)

McDaid impressed, and I really liked the look of Cameron Ballantyne for United.

Dundee United 1 - 2 Partick Thistle -
