pitch improvements

Recommended Posts

Had a look at the meadow pitch on Saturday. Stunning! Back to its heyday.

Going to miss visiting meadow park so much next season as its a good venue and the pitch has been amazing the last decade or so despite its wee lull of late.

Good to hear junior teams are always trying to improve their pitches as its also a huge factor in terms of fixture backlogs when games are always being postponed .

Our club are playing every pre-season fixture away from home due to essential drainage work on an area of our pitch and it should be well worth it when the improvements have kicked in.

Does the slanted pitch not drain well enough? 😜 just kidding visited Bellsdale last month vs Auchinleck Talbot and thought the ground was cracking!

Brig O'Lea's looking great after another major top dressing of sand and the goalmouths are being re-turfed.  Should be like a bowling green for the first game against yourselves on the 27th July!

Saw one photo of Kilbirnie's pitch. Brightest turn still I've saw haha

Think it's great with clubs communities helping sort out their grounds
