we had a great squad for 78 ,         it wasn’t hype when the fans filled hampden just to wish them a successful tournament.

It was the players who let us down            possibly because of their extra curricular activities ..

The 74 squad was arguably better...but Ally did boot us in the baws by not playing DJ.

This is an absolute, f*cking disgrace. As sad as it is, ive lost all confidence in Gordon Strachan. Im fed up of him insiting on playing numpties. We need better players. Who actually play with passion. Because none of this mob seem to do so.

Yeah we need better players. Not exactly a full squad of Scottish superstars being ignored anywhere though

The writing was on the wall this summer when Strachan went from a manager who praised the players ability and had them feeling confident after Craig Levein had continually told them they were useless, to a manager who criticised the players abilities only to mask his own managerial failings.

It's the typical cycle of a Gordon Strachan tenure. Start as a wisecracking affable motivator and by the end turn into a negative, bitter and selfish impostor.

Surely playing a striker that scored 40 goals last season would help? No?

When lee and Anya came on we looked better, more pace and runs behind the defenders.

Griffiths has zero goals in 9 caps, if hes a "better player" than we truly are fucked

I'm tempted now to say someone like Guidolin for the job, can't do worse than Strachan.

Not a bad shout. Good manager with experience at a high level abroad and in the EPL.

There's no suitable Scottish candidates anyway. Has to be someone from out with the gold fish bowl. Someone who will come in and start with a clean slate and not have pre conceived about any players.
