In-play Sports Betting and its Marketing

As a contributor to this forum, you have most likely come across the increasing prominence of gambling marketing before, during and after sports events.  You may even have participated in the in-play markets that gambling companies continue to promote. I am currently conducting a research project that will explore the relationship between an increase in access to betting opportunities that the in-play facility provides and its contribution to a normalisation of betting within sports. As a fellow football fan, I am aware that marketing of in-play gambling has become a regular feature of fans experience at sports events. It would therefore be good to explore others perceptions of in-play gambling; its use, access and role within the match day experience.
