Any new signings in pipe line ? Anyone heard anything??

Nothing in the pipeline just now, but it really depends how long our injury crisis lasts.

From a squad of 19, on Saturday we were missing 6 through injury & 4 played when they really shouldn't have, then we lost Morgan in the first 20 minutes.

Makes Saturday's result even more remarkable!

You're certainly first class in the junior spin league Richard.

You should go into politics.

I think today has sealed there relegation. Massive game at home and blew it. Kirkwood jnr wants to be a boss but is hopeless. Let burnsey pick the team or get rid of him. Don't yous the guy as a scape goat.

Can't leave all the blame at Gordon Burns 's door. I don't think he knows what his strongest team is and that 's been part of the problem, playing players out of position. He has made mistakes ( he 'll be the first to admit it ) and it's obvious when Gunner Moore arrives and is getting ready to come on, that it's going to be one of the younger players coming off, it always is. There seems to be a lack of confidence flowing through the players at the moment and ONLY  they can fix the problem. If TFC get relegated it won't be the end of the world. Better clubs than us have been relegated, it's a case of getting on with it, and starting afresh. Golden rule at this level is make it hard for the opposition to score against you, and at the moment we ship goals. The experienced players are simply not doing enough and maybe past their best.

The thing with having big players is they all have big egos and that's not always the most productive environment.
I'm unsure of the dynamics but when you mix the work and football stuff its often detrimental.
Also when you pay good money for players you expect a wee bit more from them.
When glens played at troon earlier in the season I don't think we beat them on ability but our hunger and work rate was far superior and that shouldn't be the case.
Hope they can turn it around.

Its not just the money you pay for players that should demand regular performances, its the ridiculous wages getting offered and paid that makes their current situation concerning.

Watched the highlights and have to agree that players are out of position and cost them goals at weekend.

Mcnight has never been a defender.. The John Stones run out and subsequent loss of the goal shows this.

Keenan - shuffled around the back four and far too slow and overweight, boys had a field day against him.

Relegation looming.

Going by the highlights this looks like nearly the same team I watched in a couple of games last year . Troon last season certainly looked a lot sharper and played with a bit more confidence in what shows in those highlights . Last game I was at was maybe last game of the season against the mighty Talbot and Troon were very good that evening . Very impressed by both teams and the standard of play . Why has it all went wrong in a matter of months ?

Maybe something to do with coaches coming and going. When Neil Duffy was there last year they started well, he left then the team went on a wee slump. Stevie Mccreadie came in and the team got a lift again and results and performances picked up. Since Stevie has left Troon have went downhill and hardly won a game.

See the trend!!!

So what you are insinuating is that the management team are not doing their job and their recent success is only down to individual coaches that were involved?

Certainly seems a strange set up with Burnsy as manager but Jimmy floating above his head making decisions.
