Hawick v Heriot Watt postponed tonight presume rearranged for Saturday leaving ww fixtureless on Saturday  yes/no  ?

Edit if this tie played this weekend will the winners play ww on the 10th as opposed to ek v ww league match on that date yes/no  ?

EOSL website says Hawick v HW rearranged for Saturday.

EOS Qualifying Cup ties don't have precedence over LL etc. so it won't be next weekend.

It's the South cup that takes precedence  ?

Hawick Royal Albert 2-1 Heriot-Watt University (aet, 1-1)

LTHV 5-0 Eyemouth Utd
Spartans 3-0 Leith Athletic

Spartans and Lothian Thistle march into the Semi-finals where they will be joined by either Edinburgh Uni or EK (playing on Wednesday night) and either Whitehill or Hawick (delayed from today).

Spartans and LTHV therefore find themselves only 1 tie from the final, and by the same token only that 1 tie from the glamour of joining Berwick and Edinburgh City in the East of Scotland Cup proper...

Nevermind that Scottish Cup R4 thing this coming weekend: all eyes upon K-Park where East Kilbride host Spartans in the first of the EOS Qualifying Cup Semi-finals.

Small matter of a cup final place at stake... but no doubt as importantly Saturday's winner will join David-like the Goliaths of Berwick Rangers and Edinburgh City in the City Cup itself 8)!!

Whitehill host Hawick in the outstanding Quarter-final - LTHV awaiting the winner.

What's the timescale and criteria for the City Cup this season and when do the 'big guns' (Livingston?), Edinburgh City and Berwick Rangers enter it?

Just City and Berwick Livi haven't been in it for years. Both enter at the semi finals.

That's a pity. Thought for a moment we could have had Mr Blobby slip in to the Tony Macaroni Arena for a visit by the City Cup back door this season after all. Wishful thinking?

Livingston were pulled by the mad Italian in 2008. Final-only from then until Edinburgh City's promotion.

Hasn't been QFs since 1930s with St Bernards, Leith etc.

If Livingston were playing only the EOS Qualifying Cup winner would progress to join Berwick, City and Livingston in SFs.

Has anyone approached Livingston since then to see if they'll come back in to the City Cup competition now that Edinburgh City have hit the 'big time'? Could be a job for our man at the Lowland/EOS League (David Baxter). Maybe too late for this season but what about pushing for it in 2017/18 with Livingston, Berwick Rangers, Edinburgh City and the winner of the EOS Qualifying Cup competing in the semis.
