Wales represent the downgrade this tournament's finals have undergone. (Not down as far as Scotland qualifying, of course.) Making it a 24 team affair has led to a large number of unattractive fixtures and most of the teams will be playing to try and avoid defeat.

They were the first team to qualify

If you were to look up the meaning of 1 Man team in the Dictionary you would find Wales.....Never seen a more 1 man team in my life than them.....Heres hoping England destroy them and put them in their place in a few weeks time.

A lot of bitterness towards the Welsh, presumably for being a smaller country who managed to qualify comfortably.

Folk on a Scottish football forum wanting England to win a game? SHAME.

There is no doubt in my mind at all that Williams is 100 times better than anything we have at CB but Wales are still the proverbial one man team, you only need to look at how they do without him to see the proof of that.

And as for people wanting England to win, so what? Are we living in the stone ages?? People can and are entitled to have their own views and beliefs.

I tend to agree with this viewpoint. Extending the tournament had led to too many diddy nations being present.
