Indifferent form by 'Shire opening-up the battle for top 4 again IMO. Having played 3 games more, they're only 6pts ahead of Civil Service and 8pts ahead of Spartans. They've a relatively easy month ahead... all opponents currently outwith top 10... but then finish Civil Service (A), Caledonian Braves (H), Gretna (A), East Kilbride (A), Bonnyrigg (H).

Derek and Andy need to walk. If it wasn’t clear it is definitely clear now. If they don’t want they need to be sacked. Absolutely terrible today and Tappy not playing to the whistle cost us the game. It should’ve been offside but you always play to the whistle so no real complaints. Didn’t deserve anything today anyway so nothing to complain about other than Del and Andy still being in a job.

Blaming the managers I'm not sure about that the players are rank rotten. Sitting waiting on low doing something isnt going to work. They are investing money again then they need to bin the reserve team and have a settled core 20-21 players one or two use low and build a team of non league players.

They players forced into the managers plans? Or did the managers actually sign those rank rotten players?

Did alex ferguson go to man utd and instantly succeed. Probably find if their wasnt the significant investment del would have got to the same point with a.lot of non league players

You at the wind up?

You’re talking like the two of them got the job last month. Every player there has been signed or re-signed by them

So was mark Robin's danny wallace neil Webb and many more by alex ferguson but not one of them was in the championship winning team 92-93.  Throwing money at it isnt always the answer.

I think jumping the gun and changing it may be the same result next year and if the money dried up at least del and andy would stay because it's their club

Stirling Uni deserve a lot of praise. Oldest player is 21, well organised, disciplined and played a lot of good football. We're worth their win today against an experienced team.

University of Stirling were up against it in the 1st half but dug in, defended well and took the chances that came their way in the 2nd half.

They deserved a draw but a win maybe not - still when the shire defence went all kamikaze for the game winner (though there was more than a shout for the goal to be disallowed) then it was hard to come back from that. Well done to the Scholars for the result.

Lots of serious thinking to do at Shire HQ re how we tackle our home games. Our home league record this season is pretty shocking especially when this is compared to our away form. This trend has been gone on for the last few seasons but this and last season we are particularly bad at home. The players, will and hard work is this all there but something is missing to spark it together.
