AlansHotBath
Very sloppy performance from Shire last night which was punished repeatedly by a Strollers side who deserved to win. CSS also had much nicer strips than I remember them having previously, which is no doubt the driving force behind the their push up the table. I hope they do end up finishing in the top 4 - it's entirely within their reach, it would be a great achievement, especially if they keep out Spartans. Nimmo's Notes
Good to see Strollers bringing a few supporters with them and wearing the colours. They've got a decent side, there, although they were gifted the goals, last night, they took advantage of what came their way. From our point of view, a poor performance, very slack and unfocused. Players will have to work hard if they want a contact for next season.
luggy
Hopefully enough investment for a top 4 finish in the Lowland league next season lads. Get you in the Champions League at least. This time next season you might be facing the prospect of playing the Shire to stay in the league Neilly, although word on the street is even you canny face watching Stenny these days
AlanCamelonfan
With this significant investment from Shire I was wondering who would likely remain at Shire and who would be shifted on. Obviously Danny Ashe going to Kelty is one but who else?

Somebody better have a word in his lug hole regarding that teams record of signing players.
Nimmo's Notes
All will be revealed, in time. Sure they'll want to secure some signatures first, before they look at moving players on. Heard a couple of names that are, seemingly, done deals but until they're officially signed and sealed..........

I just saw that with the boy that scored the goals for Bonnyrigg. Quite a few players moved on. They are a strange club

Same with any club no point announcing players going etc because it can all change like when we nearly lost David Grant to Bo'ness and he changed his mind and stayed with Camelon

Would have been better just getting a 20s team for the 20s east league

Shouldn't be signing players and shifting them a few weeks later seems silly.
Nimmo's Notes
I'm sure Kelty are just doing their best to improve their lot, much like any other club.

At age 18 to 20 you should be playing adult football, learning from experienced pros, either playing alongside them or against them. Aren't reserve leagues supposed to be on the way back?

You can play overage players in it. SO could use it for reserves

What was the SPFL U20s league for professional clubs is now a Reserve League for upto 18 full-time clubs (excluding Livingston, Ayr, Inverness and Raith)... most of their games are played on weekday afternoons and there's a sectional cup. There is a Reserve League 2 for part-time SPFL clubs but has been shrinking and has had to consolidate on a single nationwide division. They only play 16 games over the course of the season plus some sectional cup-ties, generally on weeknights. It currently involves Livingston, Ayr, Raith, 5 part-time clubs, and East Kilbride who got an invite last season when they needed numbers... Edinburgh City chose to stay with the Lowland/East U20s set-up after promotion and another invite wasn't taken-up, IIRC. As noted you can or play 2-3 overage players in that U20s set-up. craigiemack
Heard from a respectable source that we've signed a striker from the Ivory Coast called Lerou Tahin

Nimmo's Notes
Think you would want to sign a level of player who could get you promoted and be able to keep you up, the following season. Is Bolo available at Montrose, mo83?
