FifeArab
West Ham have had a £7m bid for Andy Robertson rejected apparently. 10% we're due, I think? Andy's worth at least 10 million.

powerhouse7
It's fine we will be able to spend the money on signing El Bahktaouti, since Ray's wanting another striker. Imagine the uproar from the Dundee fans if he came to us over them.
powerhouse7
I was having a conversation about this earlier to a fellow Arab. Who would you rather have John Rankin or Willo Flood this season?
Waffelz
Flood obviously.

invergowrie arab
I'd rather have a traffic cone with a ball on top with a face drawn in marker pen than Rankin
ebobsboy
Whilst i'm not overly enamoured he signed for us i would probably have him as a back up. He is supposedly Vaulks replacement. Not a chance he is anywhere near good enough to be that.

lionel hutz
Did United get another allocation of tickets for the Dumbarton game? Or have they sold out as well?
invergowrie arab
More tickets became available on Thursday, that's when we got ours. No idea if there are any left. See there are more scotrail strikes planned that day.
powerhouse7
Yeah I Agree I'd rather have Flood, but some boys were trying to tell me that Rankin was better[emoji23]

I've no doubt he gave his all in every game but our problem last season was a dearth of leadership, Rankin included. Him and Dillon in the media after another calamitous defeat talking about clear the air talks in the dressing room doesn't constitute leadership. Horse had already bolted. I agree with that, however I'm not sure if we've yet addressed that issue. Are any of the new signings 'leaders'? Hopefully we still have time to bring in a commanding central defender in the Andy Webster mould.
