Absolutely hilarious.

The Rangers 2012 fans still let their club die.  They all collectively held a shovel, allowed it to be turfed over and have carried on like nothing ever happened, all whilst the 1872 Rangers FC lay screaming in the soil.

😂 meanwhile in the real world, we are still here as the same team according to every credible source

Massive fake news story generated by some currant dumb. Watched STV segment, Rangers were "sent down to bottom of the leagues" trumpeted the clown. Total denial about the fact they died and a new club was allowed (illegally) into the structure., nothing to do with Rangers (RIP).

the only one in denial here is you halfwit, no matter how much you trumpet this pish, the facts dont back you up , heres lord banntynes verdict from that case confirming club and company are seperate and the club was sold from oldco to newco, run along now halfwit 😎

"During the 2011/2012 season of the SPL, the football team commonly called “Rangers Football Club” was owned and operated by The Rangers Football Club Plc, which was a member of the SPL Limited.

[21]      The Rangers Football Club Plc ceased to be the owner and operator of a football team in consequence of the sale to SEVCO Scotland Limited by its administrators on 14 June 2012 of substantially the whole of its business and undertaking, including Rangers Football Club.  "

The ‘team’ was commonly known as the ‘club’ which was owned by the ‘company’ which was called the ‘club plc’.....
pre 2012 did the supporters pay their season ticket money to the club or the company? Were the players in the team paid by the club or the company? Why were those players able to walk away for free?
The old Rangers FC died. Sevco started a new business and decided to call it Rangers. Charles Green could have named them The B&B Broadband Football and Athletic Coy. Ltd if he had been so inclined...

Oddly enough we have an almost eight year old thread with almost a quarter of a million posts and the general consensus from the P&B Bears is that we were a fiscal basketcase who overreached ourselves, mostly through hubris, and were the architects of our own demise.

I know you take a keen interest in matters Rangers so I'm struggling to see how you reach that conclusion.

It was a response to Romeo's post of tweets about agendas etc.

Clearly, extrapolating those views across the Rangers support is about as valid as your attempts to extrapolate a handful of 'P&B bears' views on it across the Rangers support but the point stands that there are an element of supporters of that club who would absolutely relish the idea that there was some grand conspiracy against them. Same with your hooped friends across the city.

It's almost as if a section of the OF support are braindead halfwits who place far much emphasis on their football teams results in life.

Posts like this please me immensely.  There is an absolute need to believe that you're somehow attached to the thing that used to win loads of trophies, most of them long before you were born.  Continuation is debatable and guddly, but I just love that you get people who simply need to believe otherwise, this badly.

Give it up, mate. We all know you don't really support this joke of a new club.

A FIRM suing Rangers following a shelved plan for an Ibrox disaster memorial wall and garden is due to have a full hearing of its £1.3million claim in March next year.

The English-based firm, Memorial Walls, raised the damages action against the Ibrox club after it pulled out of the proposed venture.

Gavin MacColl QC, for the firm, told a judge at the Court of Session in Edinburgh yesterday that the action is due to be heard over four days from March 24.

The judge, Lady Wolffe, pointed out that the witnesses listed to give evidence were “significant in number”.
Kenny McBrearty QC, for Rangers, said that although there were 21 witnesses between the parties the aim was focused in getting the hearing of evidence done within the four days.

Mr MacColl previously told the court that the action was a breach of contract case but the breach was admitted, with outstanding issues of causation and the level of damages remaining.

Dignity....

Given the explicit going concern warning and material uncertainty in the accounts, they've missed a chance to ask for money to be ring-fenced for the memorial wall. That would be a pleasing barrier-related mental image.
