Surely the worst must have been Ian Black? Didn’t he die or something after leaving Sevco

The Wiki page is an eye opener.

Imagine coming straight from Sevco where you made 83 appearances and then being told you've failed a trial period at soon-to-be Lowland League outfit Berwick Rangers.

Black was released by Rangers at the end of the 2014–15 season.

Following unsuccessful trial spells at Berwick Rangers and Raith Rovers, Black signed for English League One club Shrewsbury Town in September 2015...

... Black joined Northern Premier League side Skelmersdale United in October 2017.  He moved on to National League North side Chorley at the end of October.  Black signed for Scottish junior club Tranent in January 2018.

Also pretty  fucking eye opening about Craig Levein, too.

Loved this bit though:

In December 2011, with Hearts having problems paying wages, it was reported that Black had taken a part-time job as a painter.[27] At half time in the match against Dunfermline on 17 December the stadium announcer played Paint it black

A historic convention with a new club, how does that work?

"ELTIC supporters liaison John Paul Taylor has claimed the Parkhead club are willing to renegotiate the away application for Old Firm derby matches.

Neil Lennon's side will shamefully receive only 800 tickets for next Sunday's crunch match at Ibrox after Rangers unjustly decided last season to do away with the historic convention for handing the Parkhead club the entirety of the Broomloan Stand on Glasgow derby day.

The Parkhead side then fairly followed suit with a similar cut in Rangers' Old Firm allocation in the East End of Glasgow.

But responding to an inquiry from a supporter, the SLO said that the Parkhead side were willing to compromise on the scale of the away support - BUT Rangers weren't

Has there been any discussions between the clubs to try and solve this nonsense?" the fan said.

"Surely a compromise could be found and maybe 2500 or 3000 tickets made available to away fans."

Taylor replied: "One club is willing and one isn't"

Not sure why this is supposed to be shameful. Nothing wrong with Rangers' approach here. Always the victims, f**k them.

Always enjoy Rangers fans chat about new managers, always some absolute huddy being demanded purely because they "wouldnt take any shite". As if a manager will be successful if they start punching pusses in the dressing room every time they lose.

Sounds like an episode of Are you being served.

Shame Slippy doesn't do walking away.
Did he not sign an extension recently?
Walk away from a massive payout of its untenable?

All before becoming our highest earner twice (admittedly not much) then a season and a half on probably ok money at Burton.
