Is there any reason why the spfl couldn't have bee upfront and transparent with member clubs? Dougan, who sat on the SPFL board up until last year, said: “We have argued since day one that the whole resolution process was poor and that the Deloitte review had not covered enough ground. “We have no reason to doubt their findings but there were so many more questions that needed answered. “Why was the incomplete ballot released? Why did the resolution only have one option? Why was it not divulged to members that money could be lent rather than requiring the leagues to be brought to an end to release money? “That’s information that shouldn’t have squeezed out, it should have been willingly given because the SPFL is the 42 clubs.
