Now it’s apparent there is an investigation into the singing and I read also for players breaching COVID restrictions by being in a licensed premises serving alcohol what will this mean for the start of next season?

Ban for Paterson was 7 games for breaching COVID regulations. Could Rangers be forced to start their title defence by playing the colts? The banter baton would certainly be getting passed back

If we gave you a 7 game head start this season we would have probably  still cantered the league so f**k it let’s try it

No bans for the Dubai bevvy sessions should see the same here. If we have consistency....

It would be quite an easy defence to make I would imagine: they’d state no alcohol was served by the licensed premises and any alcohol consumed was purchased from elsewhere and the players consumed it while remaining in their football bubble, as they did when they were drinking beer in the changing rooms way back in March when we clinched the league.

You’re not allowed to consume alcohol indoors, because it leads to shouting and singing which spreads the virus, and the players aren’t in a bubble, they go home to their families, hence having to take several buses ti away games.

Then why were no sanctions imposed when the players were celebrating with beer in the changing room in March?

It’s now went from “definite secterian singing “ to “they were drinking inside”😆

Reeking  of sheer desperation

It was mentioned on the news last night that the COVID breach is being investigated.

No idea, all my emails, tweets and phone calls fell on deaf ears.

Dubai is a different country which had far more relaxed COVID restrictions at that particular time.

The dressing room isn’t a licensed area, bar staff weren’t serving the players alcohol and they remained within their bubble then went home

Yes, but didn't John Kennedy admit to there being breaches of the guidelines, presumably set out by Scottish Football's Joint Response Group that allowed Celtic to travel?

Ah, so players drinking in one part of the stadium rather than another part of the stadium is the issue? Was there bar staff serving? The only video I've seen of drink being poured was Glen Kamara doing it himself.

Bar staff aren’t part of your bubble though so why would they be there if not for that purpose? You can also hear the bar staff asking other people what they would like unless Mr Kamara has a very feminine voice.

The suits and DJ in attendance also aren’t part of the players bubble so none of them should really be there. It’s an indoor party where alcohol is being served in a licensed premises which makes it no different from the many parties we here people getting fined for.

Celtic were given permission for the trip on condition of the rules being followed. Celtics John Kennedy and various photos confirmed that the rules were broken.

From behind a licensed bar which isn’t allowed. If it was most pubs would be happy to open and serve soft drinks :)

I would also doubt if she’s part of your bubble 😉

Eh, licensed premises are allowed to serve food and non-alcoholic drinks in tier 3. I was in my local last week having a breakfast with some fresh orange juice.

If your talking about the bar pictures Dubai COVID regulations stated that you were allowed up to a maximum of 10 people as part of a single party indoors. If this is the rule that was perceived to have been broken the it wasn’t, it was the SFA who choose not to investigate further
