If he's a good a manager as he was a player, you've got a world class guy in charge. Was one player that I didn't mind watching against us, him and Arthur Numan especially I can remember.. Two top people and incredible players.

If he's half as good a manager as he was a player, he wouldn't be anywhere near Scotland, let alone Ibrox.

Not too sure if I agree with that.

Do the Rangers fans think that Gerrard will be welcomed back anytime soon for some of visit/goodbye send off?

I know there are a fair few fans who are a bit bitter over the timing of the move and the fact that anyone could leave their club for a club like Aston Villa but as we’ve seen in the last 9 years specifically at Rangers, time does tend to heal a lot of these wounds with McCoist and McGregor being a couple of examples of this.

If you go on to win the league this season do you think all will be forgiven. On the flip side if you don’t win the league do you think a lot of the fans who go to games will blame that squarely on Gerrard?

Not sure if many footballers count as 'grown adults' to be fair. More like 'perpetual teenage hoodlums stuck in the bodies of grown adults'.

Indeed, witness them with their hands in their pockets as they stepped towards the cathedral.

Rangers can confirm that Head of Elite Academy Development, Graeme Murty, will be leaving the club. We thank Graeme for his outstanding service throughout his five years at the club, including when he stepped up to take on first-team responsibilities at the request of the Board.

Scandalous way to treat a hero

Who can forget his 0-0 win at CP.
