Pretty comfortable with our loans tbh, pretty much they all have options to buy and are good young players that who will hopefully only get better and eventually yield good profit.

Like Joe Hart? James McArthy on a four year deal ?

Joe Hart cost less than the rumoured loan fee for Ramsay, has the most clean sheets in the league, is a proper leader and has been brilliant recently nor are there any concerns or issues with his fitness. It’s looking so far to be a shrewd buy

And yes like James McCarthy, NHS Scotland are screaming out in horror at the prospect of McCarthy and Ramsay in the same league

Fucking hell, what a signing that could be. Could also turn out to be a waste of everyone’s time, where he’ll play a total of 62 minutes between now and May and in 7 years’ time you’ll occasionally have the “mind when Rangers signed Aaron Ramsay” conversation in the boozer, ending in someone googling it because they simply don’t remember it happening.

In all seriousness, what is he earning at Juventus and what do you suppose Rangers are paying him?

Assuming he'll be on 200-300k a week with Juve.

Rangers won't pay much more that 10% of that, surely?

All guestimations, it has to be said.

No wonder Juventus are in such a state. Was he ever that good?

He had the potential to be after Arsenal. Rotten luck with injuries and being deployed deeper half the time when he was actually used by Juve stopped any chance of him justifying the money. Massive gamble on his fitness but obviously a top signing if it actually goes well.

Looks like the Souttar deal won’t be completed today as Rangers are apparently refusing to increase the original £300k offer..

With the Champs League pot of gold awaiting the league winners I think it would have been worth paying Hearts’ asking fee which was reported to be £500k. We are very light at centre back.

Rangers are paying a loan player £400k a month for six months, but won’t pay another £300k one off payment for a player that they actually need. Yeah, makes total sense.

Ramsay is such a huge signing, with such a strong CV, that you can't help but have a nagging feeling theres some massive issue with him.

Get a grip man. Ramsey is not and wont be earning a fraction of that figure. That's total fantasy.

Juventus have to publish figures when completing deals due to how they're owned. Ramsay is on 7m euros a year.
