You want the god honest truth, when I said ours was better I had thought we were in the championship that season, the scuddings in the OFs we got around that time kinda all blend into one to me, so I had mistakenly thought your invincible season was when Rangers weren't in the league and was waiting to throw that out there.

Hands up, I made an error!

If Rangers do an unbeaten season in the league it would be absolutely churlish not to see it as a brilliant achievement, for it to be considered better than Celtics then you need to win the Europa League and if they do, hats off to them

The question is are Rangers motivated to do it with the league in the bag already? If they win every game they match Celtic points total of 16/17?

Aye, but Rangers finished the 13/14 League One season unbeaten with Bilel Moshni in the side. I’ll let you decide for yourself which is more impressive.

Absolute class from the Rangers supporters as the Louden correctly points out.

Not only did they tidy everything up behind them but and managed to fix all those wrecked memorial benches that GCC were filmed scrapping as well but they were so selfless that literally no footage of this altruistic act exists!

Seriously though, what a bizarre thing to feel the need to not only lie about but to attack others for not reporting when it clearly didn't come fucking close to happening.

We have no evidence at all to suggest that the Kent variant means it is unsafe for people to socialise outdoors.

Most folk attending George Square yesterday would have been between 16 -30. I'd wager there were far more people that attended protests in support of BLM than protecting statues in last nights crowd.

Claiming that I'm defending neo-nazi's is extremely funny though, I'll give you that. I think when we're getting to the stage where "Rangers fans are Nazis" is the discourse then we're probably done here.

We do have evidence about the Kent variant - look at the studies from South London- that's how we know it is more infectious.  As for the 'if you're outside your fine' line that only applies if you wear a mask and socially distance none of which was on display at the weekend.

I've been on BLM marches and I've yet to see any young guys draped in Union Jacks, bottle of Buckie in hand shouting 'we are the people'.

You say that you're in your twenties.  That means you probably never saw/ don't remember that the only two stadiums in Scotland where the BNP openly sold their magazine  outside the ground on match days were Ibrox and Tynecastle.  I remember it because I did see it.

I never said (as you know) that all Rangers fans were Nazi's but your club has clearly been targeted by fascist groups seeking to influence the political beliefs of Rangers fans ,particularly the younger guys, and they have had some success.  We all know that.  Years ago I was standing in Central Station waiting for my train when a guy in a Rangers strip came up and asked for a light.  As I lit his cigarette he clocked I had an Anti-Nazi League badge on my jacket and tried to stab me while shouting "c'mon the BNP ya cnut'. Thankfully he was pissed and I wasn't so he ended up with a sore jaw and got lifted by the Polis who came running over because they thought I was assaulting him.  Luckily the women standing beside me had seen the whole thing or I would have had a night in the cells.

I've been going to matches for over forty years and Rangers have always had that element attached to them.  I don't blame the majority of Rangers fans for the fact that your club attracts them but when you refuse to call them out, when you tolerate and make excuses for them then you deserve to be called out.

Having said that I totally agree with your 'Pond Life' comment.  You were spot on with that.

Don't forget nailguns and varnish to rattle out a couple of dozen new benches!

Excellent post mate.

I probably know about 20 odd Rangers fans and apart from the token left winger the rest are right wing(not far right as I wouldn't associate with such scum).

There is a reason far right scum like Stephen Yaxley Lennon will target Unionist teams.

To be fair to most Rangers supporters including all the ones on here they can see through it.

Unfortunately 1 person recruited to Yaxley Lennon and his far right army is one too many.

Also makes you wonder what all the fuss was about in the summer when they were trying to protect the statues and memorials from the BLM protesters.

All the BLM protesters had to do was come armed with some bin bags, no more nails and "assure" them they would clean up the mess

It doesn't make up for them being there but the bears have done a great job in cleaning up their unacceptable mess in George square, thanks to DJ chopsticks for posting a rare bit of positivity.

Following events in Glasgow, Police Scotland are apparently concerned about the potential scenes on Union St the next time Aberdeen score a goal and are making contingency plans.
