Sevfer ramblings....

"RANGERS have held talks with Martin Olsson as they step up their search for a left-back.

SunSport understands the Swedish international superstar, out of contract after leaving Swansea last month, spoke with Ibrox chiefs last week."

"
Rangers have also held initial talks with Joe Aribo.
The Charlton midfielder is another free agent and is also wanted by Celtic.
But it seems Gers have stolen a march on their city rivals by opening discussions with him.
However Aribo, 22, is weighing up a number of lesser options in both England and Germany"

" omas Kalas has an offer from Rangers - according to reports.
The Chelsea defender spent last season out on loan at Bristol City and has been at Stamford Bridge since 2010"

Would be happy with any of these signings. Aribo the more exciting of the three

Good day at the office for the Rangers players involved in Euro 2020 qualifying:

Kamara running the show as Finland beat Bosnia
Jordan Jones coming on to turn the game as Northern Ireland (with Steve Davis) win away in Estonia
Borna Barisic very comfortable in a game where Croatia beat Wales

Well done, chaps.

Steven Gerrard doesn’t see a future for Barasic at Rangers. He’d rather play a lower league Englishman out of position, or a 36 years old Swansea reserve.

Well he's a bit of a curate's egg of a player and have no idea if he'll still be with us next season.

Doesn't invalidate my post, though.

The Record calling a guy at Swansea a superstar is a weird flex but ok.

Under normal circumstances, yes. But not unusual at all given Rangers* are allegedly trying to sign him......

Whilst Jake Hastie and Glenn Middleton are getting loaned out.

At least you're not just stockpiling young Scots though...

Sun sports understands....

Tbh a loan would probably be best for Hastie, give him first team experience without our fans getting on his back.

Who are they loaning Hastie to, I wonder?

Would he be welcome back at fir park if he does go on loan?

Personally I'd like to see us help Dundee out with a couple of players.

Doubtful he'd be welcome back he seemed to be fully acting the c**t by the time he left. Granted he was pretty much told he wouldn't play again but his performances had already dipped by that point and the game against St Johnstone where he was roundly booed he'd gone off a cliff.

Equally it's a case of him being your problem now (well, not you personally), Motherwell will take the development fee but there's zero point in us developing a player for Rangers once he's left the building. We've already been signing players in his position anyway and the focus is really on developing the Academy players who are signed to the club.

I'd have thought you'd probably do what you've done with Docherty and loan him down to League 1 or something.

I doubt we'd want him. After a handful of good times he was sussed out and then downed tools completely once Sevco came sniffing around.

That was a sensationally awful cameo, his first attack was 1v1 with the full back, who simply prevented him cutting in, and he got so confused about what to do he just fell over

Finally got a decent crossing chance on his left later on and passed it to the keeper instead.
