welshbairn
As is usual there is huge resistance to an arts project in Inverness, claiming it's a waste of money despite most of the cash coming from outside the area. Whether you like the idea or not, please sign the petition in favour if only to piss off a few grumpy teuchters. Only takes a couple of seconds. https://www.change.org/p/the-public-support-the-tilting-platform-in-inverness? recruiter=546899582&utm_source=petitions_share&utm_medium=copylink

ICTChris
I think it looks good. Why do people get so outraged about everything?
Romeo
Signed..!! I think it looks great. Inverness is a bit of a shit hole so anything to brighten it up a bit is a good idea.
Sherrif John Bunnell
I'll sign this just to annoy the raging simpletons who whinge about the West Link on every single Courier article.

ICTChris
Reading the comments on the Courier website story on this is hilarious "it will become a suicide hotspot" Some suggested that it won't be as successful as the Falkirk wheel because Falkirk has a "much hotter microclimate". Gid wan. Really don't miss the stultifying misery-guts naysaying that basically dominates any discussion about any project or art in Inverness. I appreciate you get it everywhere but I feel it's worse there. Negative small-town petition-starting prodnoses the lot of them.
welshbairn
If we can send Alexandra Burke to Peterhead, we can get this bridge to nowhere built. Spread the word.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Reading the comments on the Courier website story on this is hilarious "it will become a suicide hotspot" Invernesians can now top ourselves with a stylish flying forward one-and-a-half somersault pike. Much better than lobbing yourself off of the Kessock bridge.
Deeboy
Signed. Only to rid us of jumper teuchters due to the distance back to dry land.
ICTChris
http://www.mfr.co.uk/localnews/watch-location-timescale-revealed-for-inverness-tilting-pier/ A local councillor that I follow on Twitter has described it as "hideous". It clearly isn't.

WILLIEA
Wonder how long it will take until a whole bunch of kids rush to the end causing it to over tilt and tip one of them into the Ness to be washed away? Cue outrage and the thing getting pulled down, seethe in the local papers for months!
TheScarf
Looks very easy to fall off the side of it IMO.
