Do you need to purchase a ticket online, or can you get it on the day at the ground ?

I take it even if you buy online they're not strict about the seat numbers,  can't see it being too busy !!

It looks like the wee stand might be mostly full, so aye you'll need to sit in the seat number you buy online.

That said,  The "away" fans block looks empty though, so maybe you can pay on the day and get a seat up there.

Final question, will be purchasing on the day, is there a pay cash at the gate option, or is there a ticket office where the tickets have to be purchased ?

Don’t know about any other arrangements offline but the Fanbase app lets you buy pretty close to KO,  the mob who play at medowbank ’stadium’ don’t have control over fan movements, If you buy a ticket on Fanbase you’ll be able to go wherever the f**k your want, including the referees dressing room as some found out by accident early this season!

Yes, the set up is very odd, with dressing room doors for match officials and both teams directly into the crowd areas! It's far from ideal for a football ground even leaving aside the obvious lack of seats and decent terracing.

There's a club shop just along the road from the stadium you can buy physical tickets at on matchday.

Yes, you can pay cash at the turnstiles.

Tickets can be bought off the "Fanbase" App. before the game.

The away fans of the smaller clubs usually get allocated the wee block down at bottom of main stand.

*Only the fans of the two MASSIVE teams get standing round the pitch.*

I was at the Montrose v Edinburgh match on Saturday and was really impressed with John Robertson. Held on to the ball well, comfortable in taking on and beating players, and put in decent crosses from my recollection.

Looks a player 👍

Granted it was only about 50 - 100 but we had fans standing round the pitch. Seats were pretty much full.

Just passed the back of Meadowbank and see they have cut down the trees on the Marionville Road side that have been there for decades.

Presume this means something is happening at last with the development, and will eventually lead to the addition of a proper spectator facility on that side of the ground?

Makes for a great view if you can climb the fence!

It'll be the start of the building of the student accommodation which Edinburgh is so sadly lacking* as that bit of land on the Marionville Road side was flogged off.

I think we'll see Dundee win the Scottish Cup before any spectator facility is built on that side

*Heavy handed satire

Our city is a joke with the amount of student flats built in the last couple of decades, with more developments seeking planning (eg Jocks Lodge).

I'm in the 'hospitality' on Friday.

Curry night.

If its curry night can I ask, Is seating for hospitality guests during the game well away from the away support seating, if not is it OK if I move to a seat upwind (to avoid the downwind)?
