tamthebam
Cold and a bit breezy at Galabank. Fairly even opening stages. Trialist City goalkeeper had a good save early on. No-one knows who he is btw.. Annan were playing quite well, City had a couple of chances. Swinglehirst then gets a straight red, we weren't sure why- possibly for an elbow on Shepherd- and this seemed to change the game in City's favour. Liam Henderson headed in a corner after half time and Danny Handling scored a nice tap in to seal the points. Tbh I would have taken a draw at Annan as its not the easiest place to win at but a 2-0 win is rather satisfying. Pity about Cove's late show..

Tenkay
That was a great win for City, away at Annan is a tough place to go. Well done to the boys on earning that win. We're starting to look good now and can push on from here.
Hauftimedraw
City ran out comfortable winners without hitting top gear. Game over for Annan when Swingles was sent off... no one had any idea why - possibly arguing with your no 19 on who is most ginger! Balatoni looked a class above this level and rate him as best (ball playing) defender in this league. Annan probably left it too late to worry you until the introduction of Nade providing a goal threat which until then was missing. Definitely only two teams in this years title race. Very little between you and Cove football wise and at least you brought a full complement of subs with you!
Muzza81
Fair play to whoever runs your social media putting all that effort in and getting about one response each time. How they could be arsed going on with it I’ve no idea.

scrooge1928
The City Cup tie against Camelon - due for Wednesday 8th January - has been postponed until February because of our injury problems.
tamthebam
We must be taking the cup seriously, unlike other League sides in the past... Mind you considering it's taken 70 years to win the thing again, why not?!

No idea. How big is your back green...? What is interesting is that Leith Ath seem to be more interested in moving to St Marks Park in the event of Craigroyston going defunct than returning to Meadowbank as might have been expected.

Big enough for table football, and about 50 spectators albeit with poor views of the game, even from the trees.. Seriously, it doesn't sound promising. Tenkay
Good chance for us to go top of the league today for the first time this season. Still gotta win a tough game first, but would be nice to finally get in front of Cove, albeit with a game more played. Also brilliant news about Lairdy signing a new contract. He's one of the top players in the league.
