2016/2017 Championship Squad Lists

Recommended Posts

Thought with the signings happening it would be good to put up your teams squad lists and update them in here.  Could be pinned maybe?

Ayr United:

Goalkeepers

Greg Fleming

Defenders

Nicky Devlin

Paddy Boyle

Peter Murphy

Michael Rose

Midfielders

Robbie Crawford

Brian Gilmour

Jamie Adams

Paul Cairney

Ross Docherty

Michael Donald

Mick Wardope (u20)

Craig McGuffie (u20)

Leon Murphy (u20)

Strikers

Alan Forrest

Sean McKenzie (u20)

Ryan Nisbet (u20)

Finally updated after being on holiday.  Just assuming the likes of Nizzy/McKenzie etc are still with the 20s, Leon Murphy has signed his first pro contract and will probably feature with the 20s after winning the 17s POTY, but thought i would add him in.  The signing of Rose and re-signing of Murphy also added.

That's looking very, very bare, assuming there are a lot of signings expected?

Only an idiot would try to claim that a first team squad of 17 players in June is "looking very, very bare".

You didn't disappoint.

You have one striker and 3 midfielders in the first team.

It is bare, especially with only 3 weeks until your first competitive game.

No, we have five and three respectively. Learn to count, cretin.

Thanks for playing anyway.

So your youth players will be key first-team players then?

Interesting that one.

Follow-up question, why do you seem so angry all the time?

It's a championship squad thread not a key first team player thread.

You would be angry too, if you lived in Greenock or surrounding area & support Morton.

Exactly, which is why I said it looked bare, all filler no killer.

Fair enough, 50k+ post of desperate wind-up attempts though? Can't be that bad surely.

Updated Saints list, with the experienced additions of McKenzie, Gordon and Sutton. A left sided forward player and a left back and we should be good to go.

Rae looks to be building a solid squad. good Mix of experience and youth.

I reckon St Mirren will be a different proposition in the new season.
