Kejan
Crikey! I've watched most of this and going in to the QF, I'd have put Mexico firm favourites pre-match, also pretty much a home game for Mexico. Chile haven't been great under Pizzi. They were very fortunate to beat Bolivia with a late penalty, but that is some win last night. The semi-finals look very good. Cerberus
USA - Argentina tonight. Billed as the biggest game the USMNT has ever played. Not much to live up to then.
1320Lichtie
The game I'm looking forward to tonight/tomorrow the most. Would love a US victory even if it will result in the inevitable 'Messi isn't one of the best cause he can't win a cup with his national team' type stuff.
calum_gers
USA - Argentina tonight. Billed as the biggest game the USMNT has ever played. Not much to live up to then. They reached a World Cup quarter-final, which is considerably more than we've done.
Cerberus
I was being sarcastic. I mean the game has a lot to live up to after the buzz that was created during the WC.
Sherrif John Bunnell
I was in a bar in Orlando last week and they had the Brazil Haiti game on, it seemed to be on 2 different channels as well. To be fair I think we were the only people paying much attention to it though That probably wasn't he most interesting thing to happen in a bar in Orlando last week tbf.
MacGafraidh
I live in Central Cali and had to ask for the opening game a couple of weeks back to be put on rather than the usual Baseball.
Yank Mike
This win vs. Argentina will probably go no. 2 in all time USA wins. 1. 2002 World Cup vs. Mexico 1st Knock Out Round 2. 2009 Confederations Cup vs. Spain Semi-final (#1 in world) 3. 1950 World Cup vs. England Group Stage 4. 1994 World Cup vs. Columbia Group Stage 5. 2002 World Cup vs. Portugal Group Stage 6. 1998 Gold Cup vs. Brazil Semi-final (#1) 7. 2010 World Cup vs. England Group Stage
Yank Mike
Chris Wondolowski is starting with Bobby Wood out on yellows. Haha. Jurgen has used this whole tournament to troll the USA soccer nerds. For those that don't remember, Wondo missed a wide open goal in the 91st minute during the knockout rounds against Belgium. Wondo's the type that's good enough to be the best guy on a 2nd level MLS team that doesn't attract the top level DPs. He's a goal vulture. What made the last World Cup worse is that he was the last guy picked and chosen over Landon Donovan who would have played the late sub goal vulture role if Jurgen didn't hate him personally. The soccer nerds have been begging all tournament for Christian Pulisic who's a 17 year old who made his debut for Borussia Dortmund last year. I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about a guy who's been in the youth system of Germany, but I've seen enough of USA soccer nerds hyping up the next big thing only for him to suck. Good on Wondo getting a chance to make a new legacy beyond one of the great all time sport's boners.
Yank Mike
This fuckin Mexican guy they've had on the pregame / halftime show just picked Argentina after a big speech about how long he's lived in the US and how happy he is here. He said his heart is with Argentina and he's rooting for them. Deport him.
1320Lichtie
Texans stadium looks amazing for the football. Atmosphere immense. Hoping the Yanks can pull this back and cause an upset but Argentina looking very good. Guzan had a mare for that goal
1320Lichtie
Off work and might be the only boy up but everybody has to see Messis free kick..! Belter. Argentina 2 up and extremely comfortable, can't help but feel that the home crowd is being a deterrent to the US instead of a help, always get on their back and they're going for it and closing them down when they shouldn't due to pressure and Argentina just slice right through them. Yanks obviously not keen on the boring shitefest tactics but that's the way the US should be playing this game, not to NI level of proportions or nothing but still. Boy Banega looks really good.
peasy23
Messi's free kick was breathtakingly good, even by his standard. Lavezzi has just about killed himself going arse over tit backwards over an advertising board.
Raidernation
Comfortable 4-0 in the end, and not flattering Argentina in any way. Messi's FK goal was superb, and so unselfish at the end giving Higuain the 4th
peasy23
Looks like Lavezzi has broken his arm, couple of pics on Twitter that don't look very good at all.

Hopefully not out too long. Was worried about his neck.
California_Caley
Due to work i haven't been able to watch all the games in either tournament but so far have enjoyed this one more than the Euros. Despite the fact that Argentina have been running away with it there have been some enjoyable upsets.
