WW did very well against a super fit and talented u20 celtic team

WW were mainly on defence but at times showed a threat as well

Young made some superb saves , Moffat in defence was a stand out , Osbourne and Gormley showed up well

Manson especially  and martin struggled to get in the game ,

Keane spent most of the match covering their winger and helping out Ohara  in defence who struggled badly  with the pace all game and looked lost

Mcgregor ran himself into the ground

not sure about the big 17 who came on seemed well overweight and the old guy who also came on played liked he looked miles off the pace

plenty of positives for WW and a different challenge on Tuesday v Nitten

O'Hara struggled badly !? Clean sheet and there wasn't much came down his side.

A bit harsh on Frankie Arthur who only came on for the last few minutes. Wouldn't say Ando is overweight.

Thought it was a fine team display mostly in defending but still a great effort

Keane is a left back so its no surprise he drops to cover Ohara when there is a flying winger against him its called team work !

well done WW

A bit harsh on Frankie Arthur who only came on for the last few minutes- and lost the ball every touch

Wouldn't say Ando is overweight. - really ?

All about opinions there were more positives than negatives for WW which is the main thing

So you are saying now there wasn't much came down Dale's side but only because Kevin Keane doubled up?

Frankie - coming on for his first 7 minutes all pre-season - must have touched the ball 3-4 times in the wide right position. At least 2 of them he's tried to take the baw quickly and try to release the forward on a quick break away and granted failed. Why you needed to points him out for criticism I don't know.

As Patches says, BSC Glasgow 3-1 St Rochs.

An enjoyable game for a preseason kick about. Best player on the pitch was TJ (McCluskey?) for St Rochs even though he was knackered after an hour. Great intelligence as well as skill, could possibly do a job in League 2 if fitness was up to snuff.

BSC should have had 5 - missed both one-on-one opportunities amazingly. Third goal was a pearler! Game was a lot more even than this suggests though.

Lastly...the poor ref had no linesmen, and got absolute pelters as a result. Seemed lost at times!

WW 2 Newtongrange Star 1

Whitehill came from a goal down at the break to win in sweltering conditions. 28 degrees warmer than usual.

Excellent effort by both sets of players in the heat !

1st half Nitten on top  WW seemed very scrappy and not really in it

2nd half different game all WW and dominated with a touch of style as to go with it

ref watch = superb

great night:thumsup2

East Kilbride 1 - 2 Dundee XI.  An entertaining game played out in front of Dundee boss Paul Hartley.  On chances EK were definitely worthy of a draw and might have had but for a point blank save by the legs of the Dundee keeper a couple of minutes from time.

Anthony Marenghi is just a joy to watch and should be a huge player for EK this season.  Number 6 also had a great game in midfield, strong in the tackle, mobile, composed, an eye for a pass and covered a lot of ground.

Thanks for the info.

Any team sheets anywhere? Dundee team all look young or were there any players who looked a bit older (thinking maybe Yordi Teijsse who you may recognise if you googled him)?

Program didn't give line-ups.  I was impressed with a few of the Dundee side, number 10 very impressive.   The team in general displayed great levels of fitness and we wondered if this was an Under-21 side.  They were a little casual at the back on a few occasions in the first half and almost lost goals from it.
