bpek
I know what your saying lowenan BSC glasgow played Tynecastle yesterday and beat them 1-0 but 0-0 would have been a fairer result but bsc managed to get a winner right at the end,but i was really impressed by tynecastle some good players and a good bunch of guys but we have to remember that these are pre-season matches and i wonder if these teams could sustain a challenge against most of the lowland league teams over a season but yes in one off matches I wouldn't bet against them
HibeeJibee
I think most people would accept that Leith, LTHV and Tynecastle would be capable of holding their own in LL. It's their poor grounds preventing them making the step up. Take for example their results v LL clubs since LL began:Leith Athletic W1 D1 L3 (2013-14 EQC) ... Leith 3-4 Whitehill (2014-15 EQC) ... Leith 3-2 Stirling Uni (2014-15 EQC) ... Leith 2-2 Edinburgh City (aet, 3-1p) (2015-16 SCC) ... Cumbernauld 2-1 Leith (2015-16 EQC) ... Gala 4-3 LeithLothian Thistle Hutchison Vale W6 D0 L7 (2013-14 SCC) ... LTHV 2-1 Threave (2013-14 SCC) ... LTHV 4-5 EK (aet) (2013-14 AJC) ... Stirling Uni 2-3 LTHV (aet) (2013-14 EQC) ... Gala 1-4 LTHV (2013-14 EQC) ... Spartans 2-1 LTHV (2015-16 SC) ... LTHV 0-1 East Kilbride (2014-15 SCC) ... LTHV 0-1 Edinburgh City (2014-15 EQC) ... East Kilbride 1-2 LTHV (2014-15 EQC) ... Whitehill 0-2 LTHV (2014-15 EQC) ... LTHV 3-1 Gretna (2015-16 SC) ... East Kilbride 2-0 LTHV (2015-16 SCC) ... Edinburgh City 1-0 LTHV (2015-16 EQC) ... LTHV 0-1 Stirling Uni + (2015-16 SC) ... LTHV 1-1 Montrose + (2015-16 SC) ... Montrose 1-2 LTHV + (2014-15 EC) ... Berwick Rangers 0-0 LTHV (4-3p)Tynecastle W2 D1 L3 (2013-14 SCC) ... Stirling Uni 4-1 Tynecastle (2013-14 EQC) ... Tynecastle 2-1 Stirling Uni (2013-14 KC) ... Gretna 2-2 Tynecastle (aet, 4-2p) (2014-15 SCC) ... Whitehill 3-1 Tynecastle (2015-16 SCC) ... Vale of Leithen 2-3 Tynecastle (2015-16 EQC) ... East Kilbride 3-2 Tynecastle They have also frequently beaten Hawick and Civil Service Strollers who have just joined LL.

WW v Penicuik on Saturday 23rd July is now replaced with WW v Sauchie Juniors.

I'll be surprised if you hear a reply Rab. Same as last pre season before a ball was kicked competitively (canny mind if we won a cup last season) we've heard it all before.........
