Posts on the SOSL sub-forum suggest many of St Cuthbert Wanderers players have quit, and they're struggling to raise a team... and while it's putting 2+2 together, their friendly with Gretna 2008 tomorrow night has been cancelled.

According to their twitter, Civil Service Strollers now host Dunfermline Athletic on Friday not Thursday.

Game is off due to Gretna not wanting to risk recently laid goalmouths prior to Raydale cup. Heard saints are struggling but not the reason for game being cancelled Hibee

Thanks... 2+2 = 5 in this case.

Given they won the league and a hat-full of cups, surprised they've a player problem.

Selkirk will now visit Coldstream on Saturday 23rd July according to twitter. They had been due to visit Duns. No surprise there, as Duns folded during the week although their Border Amateur team is continuing and could I suppose have fulfilled the game. So their Berwickshire neighbours have stood-in.

Although not strictly a pre-season game I see Preston also has a friendly the first midweek after competitive actions begins, at Tollcross Thistle.
