Tommy has a knack for getting the best out of players who have maybe displayed a few attitude problems or not reached their full potential. In that sense, Cummings is a typical Wright signing. On the other hand, his style of play is maybe not what we are used to. He strikes me as being a bit more unpredictable and erratic than the type of player we'd usually go for. Recently, I think Tommy said something along the lines of how he prefers to sign players who are a 7 every week, rather than ones who are capable of being a 9 one week and a 5 the next. Jason Cummings strikes me as being more the latter. For a club of our size and stature, I think it would be a real coup though.
