Do you really think that club won't opt for him?

Judging by his interviews, even Cleland doesn't sound like he wants Cleland.

My memory isn’t the best, but I have never heard of this Saints “cult hero” Atilla whoever, who is wanting the managers job.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attila_Sekerlioglu

Very popular with the fans back then , used to go to the stands at full time in every game.

A scout for Bayern Munich but way to mad to do this job

During lockdown he's been a home DJ for the last few weeks

Some weeks performing in a Saints kit from the late 90s

Cheers. If Saints were in the top division, whatever it was called at the time, when he was there I must have seen him play. I just don't remember that name, which probably means that he scored against us.

I remember John Davies accusing him of spitting at him. A reporter asked him if he did it and he quite openly said Yes I did. When  asked why he did it he said "Because he is a little Shit"....Not excusing the spitting but he was bang on.

Martin Buglione.
Played 17 times and scored twice in 93/94.

His Wikipedia shows that St Johnstone were the top club he played for as he seemed to spend the rest of his career jumping about Essex and Kent non league sides.

He played non-league in the south of England and had scored about 80 goals the season we signed him. Rather than take into account that not a single league team down south was in the slightest bit interested in him because he was basically playing for the Nags Head, we snapped him up.

Wasn't that huge a fan of Dino I'm afraid. He was decent but thought he was better than he was, and we had far better midfielders around that time in Dasovic, Paul Kane and Del Boy.  He did that thing foreign coaches do after victories where you throw your hands up several times and get a cheer each time. Like that rocket Ronnie manager Celtic had 5 years ago used to do.

Because of this, Dino was always going on about how much the fans loved him.

I remember Dino scoring a peach at firhill, he maybe even scored 2 in the same game. It was round about the time we always beat them 4-0, got chucked out for being on the track twice, second time I was only standing on the  barrier but one of my nice mates decided to push me because I had been warned the first time, c**t.
