Dick Van Dyke
It would be if the manager or club came out and actually gave us some indication of what's happening and why Kane was allowed to leave

RandomGuy. It's hardly their fault you can't read.

Odd to post that then nothing for the rest of the day. Especially when the only two posts since are about tomorrow's match. At the moment Ross only works a Monday, Wednesday and Friday so there does tend to be less coverage on the other days unless Paul Smith or Bev post something.

They probably should have left out the 'more to follow' line if they weren't actually going to follow it up with anything.

I've noticed since the new website went live the format is to post a short version on the site, link it to social media then update the post later. In this case there was no further update. When the signing is confirmed all the bed wetting on the banter page etc is going to look very silly.
RandomGuy.
What is the reasoning behind Kane being loaned out then? Because he needs to be starting every week and it helps free up money for a new signing.

It was an explanation that didn't make much sense. Kane's a fairly experienced first team player who did his last loan stint in the championship two years ago. Punting him back there doesn't seem right - unless it's an attempt to offload him. In which case giving him a two-year contract extension the same week borders on the weird. And that's not taking into account our desperate need for a striker. I still expect we'll get one in, but I thought Kane, Cummins and MacLean would all be fighting to partner any new arrival. It's players like Hendry I'd have expected to go on loan. Perhaps it frees up more money; still, letting Kane go before the new player comes in strikes me as odd, unless a deal has already been done. But what Tommy said this morning (all the 'hopeful' stuff), doesn't lend that confidence.
C4mmy31
[emoji38] there goes another spanner. Definitely, I had the flak jacket handy incase we had a stray Sammon bullet heading Ayrshire way again.... You wouldn't even inflict that useless c**t on Dundee ????????????

I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash, but the 'more to follow' line set an expectation that's currently being met with tumbleweeds. Which is then not being helped by other clubs announcing players previously linked with us while Saints continue with radio silence.
The Woolshed
Where's our man ITK - Perthsaint1977 - when we're needing him most. Hit us with something, anything to keep us evenly remotely positive [emoji31]

Fife Saint
Because he needs to be starting every week and it helps free up money for a new signing. You're giving Saints way too much credit here. I smell a f**k up.

s_dog
So is Cifti the far better option player that was rumoured to be the main signing target, and Storey has been missed out because your still chasing your top target?
