Zander needs a bollocking, improvement needed or gtf, Muzz and Craig need to go back to doing the simple stuff well, new signing needed to compete in there, bye bye Ross. Pick your best team for that formation and stick by them for a few weeks I believe there has been too much chopping and changing with formations and players. The Real Saints Posted August 4, 2019 Share Posted August 4, 2019 Agree with Templar’s line-up there. Get a back-up LB. Tanser’s performances will continue to stagnate unless he has competition. He isn’t a particularly gifted footballer so he’s only useful to the team when playing at his absolute best (or extremely close to that). Keep Vihmann in the XI for the moment and replace with Gordon in a couple of weeks if we’re seeing no improvement. In an ideal world (although his contributions will never be forgotten), find a new club for Anderson and bring in a commanding CB. Get McCann and McClean out on loan (or keep one of them and find a new club for Callachan) and bring in a midfielder who is capable of retaining possession and controlling the pace of a game, a la Jody Morris or Chris Millar. Question marks over Danny Swanson. Unless his form dramatically improves, Drey Wright to replace him in that 4-2-3-1 as soon as he’s match fit (Wright on the right with the other two rejigged). If we absolutely need to get rid of Swanson in order to afford the players we require more, then it’s something we’ll have to seriously consider. Bring in a new striker to be our first-choice. Kennedy floating behind a striker. So based on pure gut instinct... The Banter page has someone saying Saints fans are "pathetic" for accepting "middle of the road mediocrity" and TW should be replaced by a better manager. He claims Owen Coyle, John Hughes or Jim McIntyre would be an upgrade.
